Erik LaBianca is a technology leader and software engineer who has been building things on the internet since 1997.

Most recently serving as VP, Engineering at XMS, Erik has been responsible for technology, software engineering, and infrastructure throughout his career. Prior to XMS, he filled both engineering and leadership roles at a variety of companies, including National Geographic Global Media where he served as technical lead for the flagship nationalgeographic.com web publishing system and as Web Operations Manager.

At Interlink, a software and services company serving the community newspaper industry, Erik held a series of roles including Lead Engineer, CTO, and VP of Operations. During his tenure, the company grew from a single-person development shop to an agile team serving over 1,000 customers nationwide from a common SaaS codebase.

Erik graduated from the Andrews University College of Arts and Sciences with emphases in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, and Anthropology.
